Privacy policy
What lotusnailstudiopgh.com collects, why, and what you can turn off. Short version: analytics and advertising cookies, nothing sold, nothing collected from children.
Lotus Nail Studio operates lotusnailstudiopgh.com. Your privacy is one of our priorities, and this page sets out plainly what information the site records and how it is used. If anything here is unclear, call either studio and ask.
Log files
Like every hosted website, this site keeps standard log files. They record IP address, browser type, internet service provider, date and time, the pages you arrived from and left by, and roughly how many clicks you made.
None of it is linked to anything that identifies you personally. We use it to spot trends, keep the site running, and understand which pages people actually read.
Cookies and web beacons
This site uses cookies to remember preferences and which pages you have visited. That lets us tailor what you see — for example, keeping the layout suited to your browser.
You can disable cookies in your browser settings at any time. Each browser handles this differently; its own help pages explain how.
Google DART cookie
Google is a third-party vendor on this site and uses DART cookies to serve ads based on your visits here and to other sites.
You can opt out of DART cookies through the Google ad and content network privacy policy at policies.google.com/technologies/ads.
Third-party policies
This policy does not cover other advertisers or websites. For their practices and opt-out instructions, consult their own privacy policies directly.
Children’s information
We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under 13, and we encourage parents and guardians to take part in their children’s online activity.
If you believe your child has provided this kind of information here, contact us and we will remove it from our records promptly.
Text messaging (SMS)
Consent. By providing your mobile number to Lotus Nail Studio — when booking an appointment online, in person, by phone, or through a form on this website — you agree to receive text messages from us relating to your appointments and your account. Consent to receive text messages is not a condition of purchasing any goods or services.
Types of messages. Messages may include appointment confirmations, appointment changes and cancellations, appointment reminders, and one-time verification codes used to secure your account.
Message frequency. Message frequency varies and depends on your appointment activity. Most clients receive approximately 2–4 messages per appointment.
Costs. Message and data rates may apply. Lotus Nail Studio does not charge for text messages; charges, if any, come from your mobile carrier.
Opting out. You may opt out at any time by replying STOP to any message. You will receive a confirmation that you have been unsubscribed, after which we will send no further text messages. To opt back in, reply START. For assistance, reply HELP or contact us at (412) 465-6624 or bookings@lotusnailstudiopgh.com.
Carriers. Mobile carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
Sharing of mobile information. No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties, with the exception of aggregators and service providers who assist us in delivering the messages, and who are not permitted to use that information for any other purpose.
Your data. We collect and store your mobile number, your consent status, and a record of messages sent to you, for the purposes described above. See the rest of this Privacy Policy for how we handle your personal information generally.
Scope and consent
This policy applies to activity on this website. The exception is text messaging, described above, which covers your mobile number however you give it to us — online, in person or by phone.
By using the site, you consent to this privacy policy and agree to its terms.
